Jackson @ Powell

The Jackson Hole Broncs (5–1) hit the road Friday night for an important 3A West Conference matchup against the Powell Panthers (3–3). Jackson comes into Friday night with plenty of momentum after an impressive 41–14 victory over previously unbeaten Evanston. The Broncs have now won five of their first six games, with their only loss coming against undefeated Cody. Powell returns home looking to turn things around after a tough start to conference play. The Panthers opened the season 3–1 before dropping back-to-back 3A West games to Star Valley and Green River, including a hard-fought 27–21 loss at Green River last week. There’s also some recent history between these teams. Jackson defeated Powell 54–20 last season, while Powell won the previous meeting 34–14 in 2024, giving Friday night’s matchup a little extra intrigue. With Jackson looking to stay in the thick of the 3A West race and Powell searching for its first conference victory, there’s plenty on the line Friday night.
