Jackson vs Evanston

A pair of strong 3A West programs collide Friday night as the undefeated Evanston Red Devils (5–0) travel to Jackson to take on the Jackson Hole Broncs (4–1) in a key conference matchup. Evanston has been one of Wyoming’s hottest teams this season, opening the year with five straight victories. The Red Devils are coming off a hard-fought 25–20 win over Green River to begin conference play and have also picked up victories over Ben Lomond, Douglas, Lander Valley and Worland. Jackson Hole opened the season with four consecutive wins before running into a powerful Cody squad last Friday. The Broncs have already earned victories over Teton, Lander Valley, Riverton and Rawlins and now return home looking to rebound with an important conference win. With an undefeated Evanston team coming to town and Jackson looking to respond after its first loss, there’s plenty on the line as the 3A West race begins to take shape.
